Evan has worked for Assemblywoman Diane Harkey handling constituent services and various administrative tasks. He has assisted former California Republican Party Chairman Ron Nehring with his re-election campaign. Evan also worked for Representative Pete Sessions (R-TX) in his DC office and assisted with the National Republican Congressional Committee. In each of these positions he has experienced politics, the Republican Party and what it has to offer. The party has done great work but it could be far, far better.
As the former elected president of the Boy Scouts of America honor society, Order of the Arrow – Evan represented 3.6 million scouts, traveled the the United States and parts of the world giving speeches, providing leadership training and making long term strategic decisions that still play a direct role in how the BSA is governed today.
Evan understands what people are going through in today’s economy. He has experienced the pain of unemployment and the eventual joy of employment. We have a distinct opportunity to refocus our message and our resolve to show people, young and old, why strong conservative values can and will save this nation.
The Orange County Republican Party Central Committee is made up of 9 assembly districts. Each assembly district has 6 central committee representatives (to be elected/re-elected every two years).
Evan is running for one of these six seats in the 73rd Assembly District, which after the redistricting now encompasses the following cities:
Aliso Viejo, Capo Beach, Coto De Caza, Dana Point, Ladera Ranch, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Los Flores, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente
The central committee handles precinct organization, party finances, endorsements, resolutions, youth outreach, and communications.
Please spread the word to your registered Republican friends and family in the 73rd district about Evan P. Chaffee – Candidate on the June 5 Primary Ballot for Orange County Republican Party Central Committee.
